LOCKWOOD- Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church for Michael Alan Brinkhoff, 62, Lockwood, who died Monday, Aug. 24, 2020, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, please be mindful of maintaining a social distance. Also, you are welcome to and indeed, encouraged to wear face masks to protect yourselves and others.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Restored Hope Against Addictions (a ministry of the Lockwood Immanuel Lutheran Church) or to the Patriot Guard Riders.

Survivors include his wife of many years, Linda Brinkhoff, Lockwood; one son, Alan James Brinkhoff, Lockwood; two daughters, Shaunna Janes and husband Andy, Lockwood and Amy DeVito and husband Brandon, Benton, Ark.; his father, Charles Brinkhoff; one brother, Jeff Brinkhoff and wife Jerica, Republic; three sisters, Nancy Lund and husband Guy, Parker, Colo., Mary DePaolo and husband Dean, Thornton, Colo. and Peggy Roen and husband Scott, Parker, Colo.; four grandchildren, Emily Janes, Blake Janes, Aiden Janes and Raeleigh DeVito; 14 nieces and nephews; four great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Brinkhoff; three sons, Jason Wayne Brinkhoff, Paul Michael Brinkhoff and Alden Jerald Brinkhoff and one daughter, Cheryl Naomi Brinkhoff.

Mr. Brinkhoff was born June 11, 1958, in Highland Park, Ill., to Charles and Diane (Delaney) Brinkhoff. He was a graduate of Golden City High School. He continued his education, becoming a master mechanic in the automobile industry. He was united in marriage to Linda C. Brummett and to this union were born seven children.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. He loved playing the guitar and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
