GOLDEN CITY- Private family services are planned for Paul Phillip “Phil” Davison, 79, Golden City, who died Monday, March 8, 2021, at his home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to Avalon Hospice or to the family, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Davison; three sons, Paul Davison and wife Holland, Bradenton, Fla., Mark Nelson, Golden City and Dale Nelson and wife Gloria, Webb City; two daughters, Nikki Davison Renfroe, Lawrence, Kan. and Michelle McCarthy-Reardon and husband Steve, Golden City; eight grandchildren, Liam Renfroe, Noah Renfroe, Jennifer Nelson, Elliott Nelson, Danielle Nelson, Natasha Nelson, Branden McCarthy and Matthew McCarthy; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Davison, Wichita, Kan., Michael Davison, Lindsey, Calif. and John Davison, State of Washington and one sister, Glenda Davison, Tulsa, Okla.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Davison, Bill Davison and a stillborn brother.
Mr. Davison was born Dec. 30, 1941, in Santa Paula, Calif., to Oral Davison and Ethel (McCallie) Davison. He married Donna Mae Lantz on March 17, 1969, in Kansas City, Mo.
He worked as a pressman at Golden Business Forms for 30 years and was a member of a metal detecting club in Carthage.
