ETHAN JAMES HASSON

LAMAR- Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Daniel Funeral Home for Ethan James Hasson, 19, Lamar, who died Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Ethan Hasson Scholarship Fund, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his mother, Stacey Hasson, Lamar; his father and stepmother, Nathan and Sheila Hasson, Springdale, Ark.; stepsister, Kaitlynn Kealy, Springdale, Ark.; grandparents, Jim and Linda Hasson and Rella Baggs, all of Lamar; an uncle, Boom Hasson, Lamar; aunts, Georgia Baggs, Lamar, Retha Tubbs, Oklahoma City, Okla., Rama Caruthers and Shana Johnson; great-uncles, Frank Parsons, Hutchinson, Kan. and Jim Dalton and wife Angela, Fayetteville, Ark., great aunt and uncles; Gerald and Nancy Peters, Lamar, and Jeff and Lynn Hasson, Springfield, MO, along with numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Dale Baggs; an uncle, John Baggs; an aunt, Melissa Baggs; a cousin, Caitlyn Baggs; great-grandparents, Doc and Jean Hasson, Marvin and Millie Dalton and Gilbert and Violet Parsons.
Mr. Hasson was born Oct. 22, 2001, in Kansas City, MO, to Nathan John Hasson and Stacey Nicole Hasson. He graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 2020. He was a member of the Academic Team, National Honor Society, Math League, Band, Archery Team and Skills USA. He had just completed the Harley Davidson Program at Fort Scott Community College and graduated summa cum laude, while also attending weekend drills with the National Guard.
He worked as a manager trainee for Pizza Hut. He attended Milford Christian Church and more recently had attended Oakton United Methodist Church.
