A full day was in store for those attending the 1st Annual Brotherhood Golf Tournament held Saturday, July 10, at Jeremy’s Creek Golf Course in Lamar. Not only were there many participants in the morning and afternoon flights, but many also were in attendance to bid on Lamar Tiger Brotherhood memorabilia via silent auction, as well as attending the AOK live auction and performance painting by Mike Debus. Members and coaches of the Lamar High School football team were on hand for the event, as well as several spectators and active participants. The morning had started off a little dreary, with periods of pounding rain; however later, although the skies never completely cleared, at least the rain was kept at a minimum. Mother Tucker’s Pizza was open for those wishing to enjoy lunch, which many took advantage of. Following the morning flight, this young golfer decided to get in on the action.
