Lamar High School counselors, left to right, Chelsie Griffin, Afton Forst and Jill Hall, gave a presentation to the Lamar R-1 School Board at their September meeting, regarding the newly updated counseling center at the high school. Griffin and Forst also spoke on the various programs that will be implemented this school year.

Shiloh Wilkinson, daughter of TJ and Melissa Wilkinson, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Shiloh enjoys drawing and reading in her spare time. She plans on playing volleyball or basketball next year. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading, because both teachers make it a lot of fun while they teach.
