COVID update

“We still have a remnant of cases from our congregate outbreak impacting our numbers,” said Barton County Health Department Administrator Joel Dermott. He added, “It appears, however; that the worst is over and everyone is on the road to recovery”.

There have been a total of 11 new cases of COVID reported over the past seven days; however, unfortunately, there have also been two more deaths recorded, bringing the total to 27.

The total number of COVID cases in Barton County currently stands at 1500 with seven active cases, 27 deaths and 1466 recovered.
