LAMAR- A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Betty Jo Parker, 71, Lamar, who died Saturday, March 12, 2022, following a fire at her home.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the funeral home or family to cover final expenses and to assist in replacing items lost in the fire.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, William Parker of Lamar; her children, Susie Willis, Lamar, Glenda Gibson, Marshall, Rebecca Wiseman, Brunswick, Amy Wilkinson, Willard, Tina Musgrove, Texas, Duffie Scott, Texas, Johnnie Ryan, California, ReDonda Key and husband William, Lamar, Remanda Parker, Keytesville, Joshua Parker and wife Jami, Lamar, Thomas Parker and wife Jessica, Lamar and Charles Parker and wife Toya, Lamar and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Ann Raymond, Kansas City, Mo. and Mary Baker, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry and a sister, Barbara.

Mrs. Parker was born April 27, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo. to Jerome and Ethel (Waugh) Gilmore. She was a graduate of Vatterott College. She was a homemaker who loved her children and her grandchildren and was dedicated to her husband. She enjoyed her family, Walker Texas Ranger and NCIS and doted on her little dog Max.
