MT. VERNON- Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Kevin Wayne Louderback, 51, who died unexpectedly on Monday, June 13, 2022, at his home in Mt. Vernon.

Inurnment will be at Prescott Cemetery in Prescott, Kan.

Survivors include one sister, Christi Tomlinson and husband Jeff, Sherman, Texas and one brother, Kelly Louderback and wife Cindi, Lamar; six nieces and nephews, Allison Louderback, Erin McCord, Chance Tomlinson, Laura Melancon, Tim Louderback and Benjamin McCord; 10 great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and a host of special friends that he loved like family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Louderback and Maxine Louderback and his grandparents, Lawson Dale Anderson Sr. and Louella Mae (Whitson) Anderson and Murel and Edna Louderback.

Mr. Louderback was born March 10, 1971, in Wayne City, Ill., to Richard Lynn Louderback and Wilberta Maxine (Anderson) Louderback. He attended and graduated from Lamar High School in May 1989.

He worked in the computer industry all of his life and was currently a customer experience specialist for Transcom.

The material for the screen will be installed late next week and hopefully, after some tweaking, the Barco will open May 3.

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger At the April 15 meeting of the Lamar City Council, Lamar resident Rocky McCulloch invited councilmen and the city administrator to take a tour of the pool facilities on Thursday, April 18, as Mason Banes with KC Gunite was going to do a walk through to see what repairs might entail. Several showed up to view the pools, as well as to hear possible solutions. Banes explained that he had to first find out if the damage was structural or plumbing related. Elaine McCulloch noted that hopes are to retain the outdoor lap pool and to redo the indoor pool so that it could serve as a children’s pool following the removal of the enclosure. Banes is to let the McCullochs, as well as the city, know what he would recommend and the cost it would entail.
