Barton County 4-H Teen Leaders were recently presented with an FCS Financial grant of $500, to be used for work on a community service project that targets food insecurity. This community service project was planned in conjunction with Lamar FFA, to build mini food pantries in the area for those in need to access at any time. The 4-H clubs and Lamar FFA Chapter will hold various food drives to keep the pantries stocked as food is needed. 4-H and FFA Youth are partnering together in leadership and reach out with helping hands in service to the community. A special thanks is extended to FCS Financial for this very generous donation and partnering with the youth on a very special community service project.
