LAMAR- Elaine Kay McAdams, 70, Lamar, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Truman Healthcare, following a battle with liver disease. As per her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Survivors include her ex-husband, Bob McAdams; a daughter, Juli Tanner and husband Glenn; a son, Isaac McAdams and wife Megan; grandchildren, Aurora and Dominick Tanner and James and Abrianna McAdams and a brother, Edward Neuenschwander.

She was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Jack Stanley; her mother and father, Virginia and Eugene Neuenschwander; her stepfather, Clifford Hoover and sisters, Linda Rose and Anna Marie Bowerman.

Mrs. McAdams was born May 31, 1952, in northwest Missouri, to Eugene and Virginia Neuenschwander. Throughout her life she worked many different types of jobs and lived in many different states. One thing that never changed was her love of her children. She had many creative interests, including writing, drawing, playing guitar, making jewelry and growing flowers.
