LAMAR-A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Lamar First Assembly of God Church for Carol Lynn Boren, 63, Lamar, who died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.

Arrangements were under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Survivors include her father, Floyed Eaves and wife Norma, Lamar; a brother, Dave Eaves and wife Pam, Lamar; two stepbrothers, Kent Sweet and wife LeAnna, Lamar and Steve Sweet and wife Priscilla, Lamar; a brother-in-law, Larry Hayworth, Lamar; a nephew, Dan Hayworth and wife Tiffany, Lamar; a granddaughter, Katrina Sanders and husband Brandon, Overland Park, Kan.; a grandson, Tyler Boren, of the home; a great-grandson, Lukas Sanders, Overland Park, Kan. and several beloved nephews, nieces, great nieces friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Marie Eaves in 2006 and a sister, Cheryl Marie Hayworth in 2014.

Mrs. Boren was born Oct. 15, 1952, at Burbank, Calif., to Floyed Garth and Alma Marie (Perkins) Eaves. She graduated high school at Perris, Calif. She was a childcare giver for many years and attended Lamar First Assembly of God Church. She was a talented crafter, creating beautiful ceramic pieces, as well as Southwest Indian art pieces and had a continued love of horses.

She married Jimmie Boren on March 13, 1982, at Riverside, Calif. He died in 2007.
