    The Lamar fifth grade Tigers traveled to Joplin on Saturday, Sept. 16, to face the fifth grade Joplin Blue team, with Lamar coming out ahead 14-0. The youth football players were invited to the Friday night, Sept. 15 home varsity game against Seneca. Players, coaches and cheerleaders got into the game free and prior to the game they participated in greeting the players as they entered the stadium. All youth coaches were also invited to be honorary captains for the game. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade Tigers will play at home on Saturday, Sept. 30, as well as Saturday, Oct. 7. They would love to have you come out and cheer them on.
