WILLIAM HAROLD SCOTT
JASPER- Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Weng Funeral Chapel for William Harold Scott, 90, Jasper, who died Friday, May 26, 2023, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery with full military honors.
A visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; two sons, Jim Scott and wife Sarah, Lockwood and John Scott and wife Maice, Columbia, Mo.; one daughter, Kristen Beerly, also of Columbia; one brother, Bob Scott, Lee’s Summit; two sister-in-laws, Alene Scott and Wanda Willis; one brother-in-law, Gene Fanning and six grandchildren, Grace, Will, Lyla, Hayes, Lucille and Isaac.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Scott; a son-in-law, Chad Beerly; two brother-in-laws, Jim Baldwin and James Brasher and three sister-in-laws, Judy Scott, Eugenia Fanning and Faye Baldwin.
Mr. Scott was born Friday, March 24, 1933, in Jasper County, to Earl Whitney and Lois Lucille (Probert) Scott. He was a farmer. He graduated from Golden City High School and was a United States Army veteran.
He married Carol Brasher on Nov. 6, 1971.
