Lamar 5th grade Tigers fall to Neosho Gold

The Lamar fifth grade Tigers traveled to Neosho on Saturday, Sept. 23, to take on the Neosho Gold team. While the Tiger defense played an amazing game, the offense couldn’t seem to get on track and Lamar suffered their first loss of the season by a score of 34-12. Lamar will return home to Thomas M. O’Sullivan Stadium for their next game against Nevada, which always proves to be a good game. Game time for the fifth grade will be 11:30 a.m. The sixth grade plays at 10 a.m., with the fourth grade playing at 1 p.m. and third grade at 2:30 p.m. Come out and support these young Tigers that are the future of Lamar's successful football program.

Barton is a runner to watch this spring, coming off an impressive season as freshman and fourth place finish at the state cross country meet last fall.
