Winning the Bubble Gum Blowing Contest in the first photograph is Jessi Brandell, as she shows off her bubble; second photo is Jenni Marti, who won the Husband Calling Contest and the third photograph is Jessi Brandell, far right, winner of the Nail Driving Contest.

Scarlette Pratt, daughter of Louis Pratt and Ashley Pratt, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Scarlette enjoys playing softball and participating in archery and cheerleading. She loves her family and all her pets.

Photos courtesy of Kristy Robertson The Truman Day Dog Show was held Saturday, May 4, with categories of 10 pounds or less, 11-30 pounds and 30 plus pounds. Several dogs competed for the top prize. The first place winner in the 10 pound or less category was (first picture) Goldie, owned by Ayla Van DaGriff, Oronogo; (second picture) Buddy, owned by Hailee Haggard of Lamar, took first place in the 11-30 pound category and (third picture) Marley, owned by Hunter Thomason, Lamar, took first place in the 30 plus pound category.
