Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Nine graduates participated in the Golden City High School Class of 2024 commencement exercises held Saturday, May 18, 4 p.m., in the gym. A large group of family and friends were on hand to help the graduates celebrate their accomplishment.

According to Scott Kelley, theatre manager, sales are cut off at 310 cars and unfortunately some had to be turned away. No fears though as Twisters A Quiet Place, rated PG-13, will be playing at the drive-in every night through Thursday, July 25. An interesting note – The original Twisters movie that was released in 1996 proved to be a sell out as well.
