DENNIS RAY KINNEY

Dennis Ray Kinney, beloved husband and brother, died peacefully in his sleep due to complications from emphysema. Dennis graduated Lamar High School in 1969, upon which he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served overseas until his discharge in 1973.

He was the eldest son of Edward Kinney, town optometrist in Lamar, and Isabel Astorino Kinney. Dennis lived most of his life in New Orleans, where he met his wife of 25 years, Tina Feraci, of Slidell, LA. In later years they moved to Tulsa, where Dennis worked in the optical business. Dennis and Tina were ardent fans of the football Saints, and deeply devoted to each other. Sadly, Tina passed away early last year. Dennis is survived by his sisters, Patricia Brown of Fayetteville, AK, and Barbara Kinney, of Los Angeles; and two brothers, Mark Kinney, of Tulsa, OK, and Darren, of Kansas City, MO.
