Progress continues on city’s next drinking water well

Progress is continuing on the City of Lamar’s next drinking water well that began with drilling on Wednesday, July 10. As of August 2, the depth of the well needed another 20 feet to reach its full depth of 1300 feet. The well is located east of Lamar East Primary School.

Tipton made the three hour drive to play against the Tigers. Each of the Big 8 conference teams have one open date on their schedule to play against a non conference foe. Lamar's open date was during the third week of the season and Tipton also had an open date that week. Lamar will return the favor by making the trip to Tipton next year.
