WALKER-A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada for Richard Lee Taylor, 69, Walker, who died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Pastor Jeff Pickle will officiate. Committal will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Rockville.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.

Contributions are suggested to the Wind Riders Motorcycle Group, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Tina; four children, Jeff Taylor and wife Kristina, Walker, Kristi Farrell and husband Mark, Ashland, Tammy Martinez and husband Larry, Nevada and Ricco Sua, Nevada; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenny Taylor, Appleton City; three sisters, including Elsie Brenton, Harrisonville and Geneva Smith, Appleton City and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Taylor and two sisters, Woneta Nichols and Betty Francis.

Mr. Taylor was born Feb. 23, 1947, in Appleton City, to James Goldman and Gladys Delsie Taylor. He grew up in Appleton City and was a 1966 graduate of Appleton City High School. He worked for the Shoe Factory, Witt Printing and SECOMO Manufacturing in El Dorado Springs, then O'Sullivan Industries in Lamar until his retirement. He was president of the Wind Riders Motorcycle Group for the past 15 yeas.

He married Tina Teo Sapini Sua on May 24, 1997, in Golden City.
