LEE'S SUMMIT-Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Park Lawn Funeral Home in Kansas City for Barbara J. Thompson, 53, Lee's Summit, who died Saturday, June 11, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, Mo.

Mrs. Thompson was born Jan. 18, 1963, in Trona, Calif., to James Hugh Williams and Linda Gay (Humphrey) Mix. She grew up in Lamar and was a 1981 graduate of Odessa High School. She was a very loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She touched everyone's heart in a special way.
