The Lamar Walmart presented a card of appreciation to the Lamar Police Department, July 28, thanking the department for all it does in keeping the community safe and for the many services it renders. Two stacks of beverages and bottled water accompanied the card. Kneeling, in front, left to right, are Officer Richard Finley and Animal Control Officer Sandy Alexander. Standing, left to right, Jeremy Watkins, Walmart Assistant Auto Care Manager; Jo Arnold, Walmart Assistant Manager; Police Chief Ken Bergman; Assistant Chief John Davis; Officer David Graham; Sgt. Oliver Cornell; and Walmart Personnel Manager Tom Williams.
