Hannah Moyer, Lamar, owns the March 2010 daughter of OSU Currency 8173. An April 2016 heifer calf sired by H M M Brilliance 621 is at the side. Chris Polzin, Darwin, Minn., evaluated the 70 entries.

Lamar Democrat/Nadine Pattison Picnic in the Park drew several despite the rainy and stormy weather that was experienced throughout the day. Several food trucks were available to offer a wide variety of choices to those stopping by to dine. Menus from the various food trucks were listed on the Lamar City Park facebook page, along with their phone number to call for easy access. In his spare time Treycen likes to play football, eat, play with his brothers and sisters in his yard and mow the lawn. His favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.

The junior class at Lamar High School hosted Senior Prom 2024. The event was held Saturday, April 20, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 96 Elite in Oronogo. Prior to the event, family and friends gathered to support their students as they showed off a vide variety of prom wear at the Promenade, held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Wyatt Earp Park in Lamar.
