LBT sign proclaims 80 degrees on November 17

Lamar Democrat/Richard Cooper This is mid-November? At 2:22 on the afternoon of November 17, the time and temperature sign at Lamar Bank and Trust proclaimed it was 80 degrees on the Lamar square. Not a record, however. Those of the older set may remember November 17 as Sadie Hawkins Day.
