Timmons participates in slam dunk contest

Sam Timmons was recently invited to participate in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions Dunk Contest in Springfield. This year was their biggest turnout yet, with 11,000 people in attendance. Timmons did a great job representing southwest Missouri in the nation's number one attended high school tournament in the country.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
Treycen Coy, son of Matthew Coy and Angie Coy, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. In his spare time Treycen likes to play football, eat, play with his brothers and sisters in his yard and mow the lawn. His favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
