National Weather Service issues red flag warning

A red flag warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Barton and surrounding counties through Friday. A red flag warning is commonly referred to as a burn ban. The warning has been isssued because of dry vegetation, low humidity, and strong winds. Humidity has dropped to 20 percent or less.

Outside burning is dangerous and strongly discouraged!
