LOCKWOOD- A celebration of life and faith will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, for Cleo Ledelle Eggerman, 91, Lockwood, who died Sunday, March 12, 2017. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14.

Arrangements were under the direction of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Olga; two sisters, Aldine Schulz and Jean Dwyier; five children, Leland Eggerman and wife Linda, Lockwood, Leslie Eggerman and wife Jean, Brookfield, Loren Eggerman and wife Robin, Lockwood, Anita Allison and husband Steve, Greenfield and Timothy Eggerman and wife Lori, Lockwood; 15 grandchildren, Lesha Muncy and husband David, Linse Hawks and husband Dan, Amy Schnelle and husband Merle, Lee Eggerman and wife Kara, Chris Eggerman, Kevin Eggerman and wife Erin, Ashley Monday and husband Ryan, March Allison and fiance Megan Stewart, Matt Eggerman and wife Erica, Katie Blount and husband Lucas, Eric Allison and wife Kirsten, Brittany Allison, Landon Eggerman, Joseph Eggerman and Thomas Eggerman; 12 great-grandchildren, Madelyn Muncy, Wyatt Hawks, Lucas Eggerman, Emelia Hawks, Addison Eggerman, Anna Hawks, Maria Schnelle, Gage Eggerman, Gavin Eggerman, Pace Allison, Ethan Monday and Clara Schnelle and six step-great-grandchildren, Nathan Schnelle, Zane Blackburn, Noah Schnelle, Aiden Blackburn, Sydney Blackburn and Noelle Schnelle.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Willard Eggerman and brothers-in-law, Raymond Fleischer, Hans Schulze and John Dwyier.

Mr. Eggerman was born March 17, 1926, in Lockwood, to Fred and Amelia (Schilling) Eggerman. He was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church on April 4, 1926 and was confirmed in his faith on April 2, 1939. He was a 1943 graduate of Lockwood High School. He married Olga Fleischer at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City on Sept. 23, 1950.

He was a lifelong farmer, living on the family farm his entire life. He was a Pioneer Seed salesman for almost 50 years. A lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, he served on many boards and committees, taught Bible classes and was also a member of the adult choir for many years. He served on the MFA Oil and Good Shepherd Nursing Home boards.
