Lamar Heights Board holds swearing in

In a brief quarterly meeting, April 13, two members of the board of aldermen and the mayor were sworn in to new two-year terms. Left to right, Jerry Worley, first ward; Jerry Marti, mayor; and Debbie Little, second ward. It was confirmed that a dead end sign has been placed at the entrance to Southeast 11th Road. The council voted unanimously to place an ordinance on the next meeting’s agenda foregoing an election if no candidates face opposition. The next quarterly meeting of the Lamar Heights Council will be on July 13.
