The Redneck softball team, consisting of a group of girls from Lamar, ages 12-14, was supposed to be playing a game against Miller on Thursday, June 13; however, unbeknownst to them, Miller was not aware of the game. This prompted the girls’ family members to step up to compete against them, which was definitely a very cool thing to do. The family members that were playing the 12-14 year old girls ranged in age from 15-65. Coaches for the girls are Corin Berryhill and Luke White, who reported that the girls had a “blast”!
