JASPER- A memorial visitation will be held at Weng Funeral Chapel from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, for Eugene Ray Pugh, 68, Jasper, who died suddenly at his home on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017. Burial will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gene Pugh memorial at Southwest Missouri Bank.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Pugh, Jasper; his mother, Vera Pugh, Lamar; two daughters, Randy Dysinger and husband Matt, Carthage and Robin Wampler and husband Greg, Jasper; a stepson, EJ Sisseck and wife Shirley, Jasper; a grandson, Dakota Dysinger, Carthage; two step-grandsons, Jeremy Wampler and wife Deanna, Wallingford, Conn. and Steve Wampler and wife Stephanie, Bethany, Conn.; seven step-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Carter Pugh and wife Jill, Irwin, Fred Pugh and wife Glenda, Joplin, Gerald Pugh and wife Sheila, Irwin and Joe Pugh and wife Vicki, Lamar and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pugh was born Jan. 4, 1949, in rural Jasper County to Raymond and Vera (Rives) Pugh. He was a farmer and resided in Jasper most of his life.
