Lamar Democrat/Richard Cooper Kelly Beets of MIRMA, the city's liability insurer, presents Mayor Kent Harris with a plaque honoring the city for qualifying for three grants totaling $2,607 that provide police body cameras, tire deflation devices, and less lethal devices to control fugitives. All reduce liability. MIRMA is not an insurance company but a municipal self insurance pool.
