Levi Slaight, son of Heather and Grady Hart, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Levi enjoys playing outside. He enjoys playing with his pets, Smokey, Bandit and Princess. He also enjoys playing football.

She plans on playing volleyball or basketball next year. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading, because both teachers make it a lot of fun while they teach.

Drone photo by Joe Davis Rawlings Crane & Fabrication has been busy installing the new screen at the Barco Drive-In. This photo from Thursday morning shows both wings in place. The material for the screen will be installed late next week and hopefully, after some tweaking, the Barco will open May 3.
