Litter takes over roadways

Litter along the highways and byways unfortunately is a common sight and many have trash receptacles in their vehicles, while many others don’t, choosing instead to throw items out of their window, or if walking, to just drop them where they are. This collection of cans and bottles was picked up in a radius of ½ mile on NW 50th Lane, to ½ mile on NW 40th Rd., to ½ mile to NW 45th Lane. It’s a shame that people don’t take responsibility for themselves instead of leaving litter for others to tend to.
