Three members of Lamar TigerSharks travel to Siloam Springs

Three members of the Lamar TigerSharks travelled to Siloam Springs, Ark., on June 9. Swimmers could compete in a maximum of three individual events. The top eight finishers in each event scored team points. Kaitlyn Davis won the 15-18 Girls High Point Trophy with first place finishes in the 200 yard freestyle, 200 yard IM and 100 yard freestyle. Addison Zamora finished in second place overall for 9-10 Girls. Zamora took first place in the 100 yard freestyle, second place in the 50 yard freestyle and second place in the 100 yard IM. Nevaeh Jones finished eighth in both the 50 yard backstroke and 50 yard butterfly. Pictured, left to right, are Addison Zamora, Nevaeh Jones, Head Coach Jessica Zamora and Kaitlyn Davis.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Sixth grade girls earn Kansas State Championship
Gunner Miller, son of Sharron Miller, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Gunner plays baseball and likes playing video games in his spare time. His favorite subject is Math.

The material for the screen will be installed late next week and hopefully, after some tweaking, the Barco will open May 3.
