LAMAR- Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Daniel Funeral Home for Donald Lee Dawe, 69, Lamar, who died Thursday, June 28, 2018. Burial will be in Oakton Cemetery.
There will be no formal visitation, but friends can pay their respects from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested to Lamar Family Ministries Daycare, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Deloris; two sons, Charles Dawe and wife Tammy, Weir, Kan. and Michael Dawe, Pittsburg, Kan.; three stepsons, Joe Watson and wife Becky, Osage Beach, Rick Watson, Lamar and Randy Watson and wife Patty, Lamar; a daughter, Tami Drake, Pittsburg, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Lisa Anderson, Lamar; two sisters, Linda and Norleen; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Derek Watson.
Mr. Dawe was born Dec. 28, 1946, in Troy, Kan., to Robert Lyman and Georgia Martha (Jeschke) Dawe. He served his country in the United States Navy and attended Pittsburg State University, where he received a degree in Lab Sciences.
He married Deloris Masterson on May 28, 1987, in Miami, Okla. He had worked as a medical technologist at Freeman Hospital for 14 years and had worked at Barton County Memorial Hospital prior to that. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle and attended Lamar Family Ministries Church.
