Stevenson explains role of MU Extension to Rotary

Lindsey Stevenson with MU Extension spoke to the Lamar Rotary Club on Tuesday, Aug. 7, regarding MU’s new mission. Stevenson is currently a county engagement specialist in nutrition and health, working in Jasper, Dade and Barton counties. She stated that the three areas MU Extension concentrates on in order to make an impact in the various communities are health, education and economy. Stevenson stated that many of the programs would be staying the same, with the addition of more online classes being offered.
