LMS Brotherhood claim Big 8 Conference Championship

The eighth grade Lamar Tigers rolled through the final three games of their season with wins over Monett (28-12), Seneca (15-0) and Cassville (36-20). The Tigers continued to rely heavily on their running offense. Against Monett, the Tigers rushed for 169 yards on 10 carries. In their final game against Cassville, the Black and Red accumulated 324 yards in 24 attempts. The Tigers only passed the ball six times in those two contests. There were only two quarters of play against Seneca and statistics were not available for this game. During the entire 2018 campaign, the Tigers outscored their opponents 165-44. The LMS Brotherhood completed back-to-back undefeated seasons, claiming the Big 8 Conference Championship for the second year in a row.
