LAMAR- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church for Lynda Gayle Hardman, 71, Lamar, who died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Contributions are suggested to the Milford Christian Church Mission Fund, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Hardman; one son, Lance Hardman and wife Michelle, Lamar; two daughters, Lisa Devore and husband Pat, Carl Junction and Lizabeth “Eby” Mooney and husband Tom, Lamar; 11 grandchildren, Jake Devore, Lexis Conway, Ryan Devore, Abbie Devore, Taylor O’Sullivan, Lakin Hardman, Luke Hardman, Landon Hardman, Trenton Mooney, Trey Mooney, Katelyn Mooney and one great-grandchild, Thomas James O’Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin boys in December of 1966.

Mrs. Hardman was born Nov. 27, 1947, in Carthage, to George Edson and Dorothy Ellen (Divine) Brinkerhoff. She was a 1965 Lamar High School graduate.

She married Larry James Hardman on March 20, 1966, at First Christian Church in Lamar and together they had three children. She was a homemaker and a member of Lamar First Christian Church and the Stone Farm Club.
