LHS girls swim team participates in Ozark Invitational

The Lamar Girls Swim Team competed at the Ozark Invitational on January 5. Twenty-nine teams gathered at Foster Natatorium in Springfield for one of the largest meets of the season. The Lady Tigers finished in 10th place overall in team competition out of 29 teams from throughout the state. Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
Treycen Coy, son of Matthew Coy and Angie Coy, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. In his spare time Treycen likes to play football, eat, play with his brothers and sisters in his yard and mow the lawn. His favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
