Hargrave surprised with WGU Missouri scholarship

Lamar resident Regan Hargrave, right, a media aide and computer instructor at Columbian Elementary School in the Carthage R-9 School District, was recently surprised with a $5,000 scholarship to WGU Missouri. Hargrave was officially presented with the scholarship by WGU Missouri Chancellor Dr. Angie Besendorfer, left, who served as Columbian Elementary School principal from 1999 to 2001. Hargrave is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from WGU Missouri.
