LHS track team competes at 9/10 McDonald County Invitational

The Lamar High School track team competed in the McDonald County 9/10 meet in Anderson on March 25. Pictured, left to right, are (front row) Kaitlyn Davis and Kara Morey, (back row) Nevaeh Jones and Kyleigh Talbott, members of the 4x800 meter girls relay team, which medaled third in that event. Davis and Morey were also part of the 4x400 meter girls relay team, which placed third. Talbott led the Tigers in points, placing first in the 200 meter dash, first in the 300 meter hurdles and third in the high jump.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
Treycen Coy, son of Matthew Coy and Angie Coy, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. In his spare time Treycen likes to play football, eat, play with his brothers and sisters in his yard and mow the lawn. His favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
