Historical Society honors volunteers who keep it going

Lamar Democrat/Richard Cooper Joe Davis was the first volunteer to speak at the April 28 meeting of the Barton County Historical Society. He displayed an authentic sign that once directed travelers to the Jefferson Highway that passed from Canada through Lamar to the Gulf of Mexico.
