RUTH “EILEEN” BORDEN

NEVADA, Mo.- Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Cemetery in Milford for Ruth “Eileen” Borden, 90, Nevada, Mo., who died Monday, July 5, 2019, at Medicalodges of Nevada. Pastor Shane McCaslin will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Christian Church of Sheldon, in care of the funeral home at 301 S. Washington, Nevada, MO 64772.

Survivors include her sister, Norma Jean Lee and husband Gaylord, Independence and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Mrs. Borden was born July 14, 1928, in Milford, to Thomas Leroy and Mary Leotta (Faubion) Borden. She lived in Sheldon for nearly all of her life, graduating from Sheldon High School in 1946. She was an active member of the Christian Church of Sheldon, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She loved gardening and sewing. She made clothes for Silver Dollar City’s dolls.
