ST. LUCIE, Fla.- A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Sheldon (Mo.) Baptist Church, for Stanford Earl Dunn, 71, who died Friday, July 26, 2019, surrounded by family.

Survivors include his wife Sharon; two daughters, Jessica Servey and husband Matt and Jennifer Laning and husband Daniel; his stepchildren, Robert Jr. and wife Lynn, Rodger and wife Michelle, Shawna and husband Michael and Brittany and husband Ricky; his siblings, Randall Dunn and wife Pamela, Nancy Crews and husband Skip, Robyn Abbott and husband Rod, Traci Duffey and husband Ed, Rick Turner and wife Carrie and Carri Ann Turner. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and one great-grandchild that is on the way. There are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who will also miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Dunn; his mother and stepfather, Wanda and Amos Turner; his grandparents, Earl and Nancy Smith; the mother of his children, Debra Carr Dunn and his son, Jacob Earl Dunn.

Mr. Dunn was born Feb. 23, 1948, in Wellsville, to Clifford and Wanda Dunn (Turner). He worked in the lumber yard business, along with O’Sullivan Industries, while he reared his three children, Jessica, Jennifer and Jacob Dunn, in Sheldon, Mo.

In 1998 he moved to Pennsylvania, where he lived for numerous years with his wife Sharon. He and his wife had recently bought a home in St. Lucie, Fla., where they spent their days relaxing and enjoying the exotic birds. He was an avid sports fan, he loved his Philadelphia Eagles, and loved motorcycles and lighthouses. He was known for his kind, soft, generous heart and he was loved by all who knew him.
