BARBARA JANE FIELDS

HORTON- Graveside services will be announced at a later date for Barbara Jane Fields, 80, Horton, who died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at Nevada Nursing and Rehab, following a brief illness.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, Lecil; her children, Debbie McCune, Sheldon and Dustin Vittetoe, Springfield, Lisa Hendrix, Ft. Scott, Kan. and Dale Fields, Bethany; two grandchildren, James Sorden, Nevada, Mo. and Jennifer Weston, Broken Arrow, Okla.; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Rob Lintner, Lamar; a half-sister, Carla Lintner, Lamar and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ed Lintner.
Mrs. Fields was born Nov. 21, 1938, in Kansas City, Mo., to Robert Henry and Wilma Jane (Hornbeck) Lintner. She married Lecil M. Fields in Miami, Okla.
She grew up in Kansas City and at a young age she came with her family to Jerico Springs, where she attended Stockton schools. She worked at Nevada State Hospital for 27 years, retiring in 1996. She had resided in Horton since 1992.
