Barton County Chamber of Commerce welcomes Lamar Country Club

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The Barton County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the Lamar Country Club on Monday afternoon, Sept. 23. It was a beautiful day, complete with bright sunshine as apparent in the photo, as members stood near the deck on the back side of the building, that overlooks the golf course. The country club is located at 8 E SE 20th Rd., and was originally established in 1952. They recently converted from the governing body for Lamar’s golf course into a not-for-profit social club for Barton County and surrounding areas. They feature many amenities as well as regular activities. Come out and visit them to see what all they have to offer.
