VERONA A. TROYER

LAMAR- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Golden City Mennonite Church in Newport for Verona A. Troyer, 93, Lamar, who died at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, at her residence. Alvin Yoder will officiate. Burial will be at the Mennonite Cemetery in Newport.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Golden City Mennonite Fellowship Church.

Pallbearers are Jerald Troyer, Jason Troyer, Michael Troyer, Tristan Miller, Nicolas Yoder and Thomas Miller.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, John Troyer; four sons, David Troyer and wife Sylvia, Somerset, Ohio, John Troyer and wife Mintie, Frankfort, Ohio, Alvin Troyer, Ramona, Calif. and Chris Troyer and wife Elsie, Lott, Texas; four daughters, Barbara Miller and husband John, Grandview, Texas, Mabel Miller and husband Jerry, Rosebud, Texas, Edna Miller and husband Jonathan, Knob Noster and Suzanne Yoder and husband Melvin, Lamar; one brother, Leroy Graber, Elkhart, Ind.; two sisters, Anna Schrock, Leoma, Tenn. and Susan Horst and husband Sam, Clarkrange, Tenn.; 41 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Yoder was born April 23, 1926, in Berne, Ind., to David and Martha (Schwartz) Graber. She married John Troyer on April 4, 1954.
