LORENA F. BREEDLOVE

IANTHA- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar for Lorena Frances Breedlove, 101, Iantha, who died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, at her home. Burial will be at Iantha Cemetery.
Visitation will be held held prior to the service, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Donations may be made to Gideon International or Iantha Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Phipps and husband Gary, Lamar and Doris Esser and husband Jim, Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Timothy Phipps and wife Anna, Dena Wilkerson and husband Dave, Dennis Esser and wife Mayela and Douglas Esser and wife Annissa; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew Esser, Matthew Esser, Joshua Esser, Cole Esser, Kade Esser, Lori Batchelor and husband Miles and Megan Wilkerson; three great-great-grandchildren, Foster Batchelor, Charlotte Bachelor and Luna Wilkerson and one brother, Gene Felkner, Fair Grove. She was also known as “Aunt Rene” to many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, Odis McWhirter, Richard Felkner, Leroy Felkner and Fred Felkner and a sister, Juanita Dampier.
Mrs. Breedlove was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Sentinel, Okla., to Goldie and Emmett McWhirter. She married Leland Breedlove on Dec. 4, 1935. She lived in Lebanon, Mo. for many years before moving to Iantha. She lived a long and fruitful life, enjoying gardening, flowers, crocheting and especially quilting. She attended the Iantha Baptist Church for many years.
