The entire community of Liberal has been through a lot over the course of the last week. An arson fire destroyed the old high school and the elementary gymnasium a week ago. Liberal's homecoming was to be held Friday night, but because there was no school all week as a result of safety concerns over the wreckage and on-going clean-up, homecoming was postponed. The Bulldogs did however host conference foe Rich Hill. The Bulldogs (3-2) did not disappoint the large and enthusiastic home crowd, claiming a 66-42 victory. They take their three game winning streak to St. Joseph Friday night when they square off with Bishop LeBlond. Here junior Gunner Miller drags Rich Hill Tigers for extra yards.
