Paddle party helps raise funds for worthy cause

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger While the paddle party Thursday evening, Oct. 10, was being held inside Lamar Memorial Hall, the attraction outside was Ghetto Tacos, who, despite the rainy weather, saw a steady flow of traffic throughout the evening. Several vendors were set up inside to successfully help raise funds that will go towards helping a local family with a step-parent adoption.
