ANNA MORRIS

LIBERAL-Friends and family will gather at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at the Liberal Community Park Building, to celebrate the life of Anna Marie Morris, 53, Liberal, who died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan., following a battle with cancer.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include a son, Michael Morris, her mother, Patricia Rae, two stepsons, John Morris and Jody Morris and a brother, Jackie Rea Jr., all of Liberal; three grandchildren, Nevaeh Morris, Lilly Morris and Jeremy Morris, all of Illinois and a step-grandson, Gavin Morris. She also leaves behind many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Rea Sr. and a brother, Burton Rea on Dec. 12, 2014.

Mrs. Morris was born March 23, 1962, at Carthage, to Jackie Gene and Patricia Sue (Riley) Rea. She attended schools in Liberal and had worked 10 years at Bank of Minden, was an assistant manager for Casey's General Store and worked 10 years at Barton County Mutual Insurance. Her grandchildren were her greatest love. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and swimming.
